We’ll walk through the Financial District and the North End neighborhood, and our first stop will be the historic Kane’s Donuts, a place that has witnessed this area’s transformation from a hub of maritime trade to the city’s business center.
Next, we’ll head to the Boston Public Market, the perfect place to try freshly made cider doughnuts. Did you know they’re made with apples from local orchards? We’ll learn about the important role local farms play in Boston’s culinary traditions.
Not only will we enjoy the most classic types of donuts, but we'll also sample new trending creations. Would you like a maple syrup donut or a salted caramel Bourbon donut? Or maybe you'd prefer to try one with popcorn and butter? Not to mention the legendary Boston cream filling, a vanilla custard-like cream.
As we walk around, we'll reveal this city's important ties to donuts. In fact, one of the world's most famous multinational donut chains was founded very close to here. Which one is it? We'll find out!
