Broome Complete Tour
Tour Details
At the scheduled time, we’ll pick you up at your chosen location and begin this tour, which will take us to the main attractions in Broome and the surrounding area. Let’s go!
First, we’ll head to the Willie Creek Pearl Exhibition Hall in downtown Broome. There, we’ll learn all about the history and craft of pearl diving in Australia, hearing how the first divers had to struggle to perform this arduous task under extremely precarious conditions.
We’ll continue exploring Chinatown, where we’ll discover Sun Pictures, one of the world’s oldest operating open-air movie theaters, and visit the Spinifex Brewery for a tasting.
With that delicious taste still on our palates, we’ll head to Town Beach to learn about the history of the one-day battle that took place in Broome during World War II. We’ll also visit the Japanese Cemetery, a place steeped in history that reflects the close ties the Japanese community developed with the pearl farming industry.
Next, we’ll head to Gantheaume Point to get a close-up view of its impressive reddish cliffs. From there, we’ll walk down to Gantheaume Beach to watch one of Australia’s most beautiful sunsets over the Indian Ocean while enjoying some snacks and drinks.
Finally, we'll take you back to the starting point and end the tour after 6 hours of sightseeing.
