We were lucky to get the last tour before the town shutdown. The guide Debbie was excellent, she told us a lot of historical facts and interesting legends about the town. Highly recommend.

Bruges Free Tour

This free tour in Bruges will start from the market square, the Grote Markt, which is in a truly central position. Here you can see the impressive Belfry of Bruges, one of the city's most emblematic monuments. Nearby is the Palace of Gruuthuse (also known as the Provincial Palace). Its architecture will take you back in time to the Middle Ages.

After explaining the history of these monuments, the guide will lead you through the charming medieval streets of the city. You'll discover many Gothic monuments and the romantic canals that run through the centre. You'll also go to the Lake of Love, one of the most popular areas of the city, full of obscure legends that the guide will reveal to you.

During the tour, you can also see the following monuments: the Old St. John's Hospital, the Beguinage, the Church of Our Lady, the Boniface Bridge, the Groeninge Museum, the Dijver, the Fish Market or the Burg Square. There are many other magical places that we prefer to keep secret and that you'll discover on the day of the visit!
