Choo choo! If you are in the capital of Belgium, do not miss Train World. At this locomotive museum of Brussels, you will learn how the oldest European train network has evolved. During the visit to the museum, you will encounter up to five steam engines.

The train museum, located in Schaerbeek station on the track that runs from the capital of Belgium and Mechelen, is an authentic architectural gem and provides the perfect combination of locomotives of the Industrial Revolution and modern day engines.

Also at Train World in Brussels, you will discover the secrets of railway technology and even climb aboard a simulator to “see into the future” and admire how trains will be in a few years. This is an unforgettable experience for all the family!

Timetables

The Train Museum in Brussels is open Tuesday to Sunday from 10 am to 5 pm. However, please be aware that the last access is at 3:30 pm.

Included in your ticket to Train World is access to the following temporary exhibitions:

Orient Express: mythical, luxurious and Belgian

This exhibition will be open to the public from 26th October 2021 to 17th April 2022.

The exhibition tells the history of the Orient Express and its creator: Georges Nagelmackers. This businessman born in Liège founded the Compagnie Internationale des Wagons-Lits, the company known for the legendary Orient Express trains.
