Advantages of a private tour

When you reserve a private day trip, you benefit from an expert English-speaking guide just for you and your group. What's more, if you're a larger group, you'll save money.

Our private tours from Bucharest

Make the most of your time in Bucharest by choosing one of these private day trips from the Romanian capital:

Day Trip to Dracula's Castle and Peles Castle (11 hours)

Having been picked up from your hotel, you'll leave the bustle of the city centre and head into the peaceful countryside landscapes of Transylvania and Wallachia, where you'll discover the quintessential symbols of Romania. Firstly, you'll explore the impressive Peles Castle, the former summer palace of the Romanian royal family. Later, you'll have the opportunity to get to know the myths and legends surrounding Bran Castle, or as it is popularly known, Dracula's Castle.

Finally, you'll visit the town of Brasov and its iconic Black Church. This private day trip follows a similar route to our group day trip to Dracula's Castle and Peles Castle from Bucharest.

Day Trip to Bulgaria (11 hours)

After being picked up from your hotel in Bucharest, you'll be driven to the north of Bulgaria, where you'll discover the mystical sights of Basarabov, an active cave monastery, and Arbanasi, where you can admire the architecture and religious art of a number of Orthodox monasteries and churches, as well as stunning views of the surrounding countryside.

You'll also visit Veliko Tarnavo, the Medieval capital of the country and home to a fascinating history. Here you'll find the imposing hilltop Tsarevets Fortress, built in the Middle Ages. This day trip to Bulgaria follows a similar itinerary to our group excursion to Bulgaria from Bucharest.
