Want to know the origin of the Argentinian capital? This free walking tour of Buenos Aires is the best way to visit the city's historical center and learn many curiosities about its past.

Tour Details

At the indicated time, we'll meet in the heart of Buenos Aires. From here, we'll start this free tour of Buenos Aires that will take us to uncover the history of the capital of Argentina.

Along our route, we'll see iconic locations such as the Plaza de Mayo, one of the most famous areas in South America, where the Declaration of Independence of Argentina took place. Here, you can find the famous Casa Rosada, the government HQ. On this balcony, Evita Perón sang Don't Cry For Me Argentina. You'll love it!

We'll also head to the majestic Avenida de Mayo, filled with European charm that will take us back in time. Here, we'll admire the impressive architecture of the centenary buildings and delve into the history hidden behind their walls.

Our route will also take us past other monuments, such as the cathedral, the beautiful La Prensa building, and the Café Tortoni. You'll love these historic buildings!

We'll also make a stop at the National Congress of Argentina, a symbol of Argentinian democracy and transcendental moments in the country's history. The Congress is located on one of the prettiest squares in the capital. From here, we'll pass places like Barolo Palace and the Mural of Evita Perón, where we'll learn the fascinating story of one of Argentina's most famous women.

After a total of 2 hours, our free tour of Buenos Aires will come to an end. Until next time!

Group Size

This free tour doesn't admit groups of more than 6 people, even if they book the activity separately. If you're a larger group, we recommend checking out this private tour of Buenos Aires.
