African Drum Show + Dinner at Gold Restaurant
Activity Details
In the popular Gold restaurant, you can sample African flavours and enjoy a live music show with percussion and drumming.
You'll be seated at your table, and the experience will begin with a special performance by Mali, a puppet representing the Bamana people. In their tradition, puppets are intermediaries between the human and spiritual worlds.
Afterwards, you'll be served a menu of 14 traditional African dishes, highlighting the ingredients and ways of cooking of different tribes and ethnicities. Tasting the varying cuisines is a way of celebrating the diversity of the continent!
During dinner, a group of dancers will dance and sing around your table to the sounds and rhythms of the djembe, a traditional drum. You'll also witness a competition between two warriors, and the last performance will be dedicated to the kings of Africa, an unforgettable moment!
