Tour Details
We'll pick you up at your hotel at the designated time to start a complete tour of some of the main attractions of Cape Town. Table Mountain and Robben Island await!
First, you'll be dropped off at the harbor to board a ferry that will take you to Robben Island, a surprising place full of history. After approximately half an hour of sailing, you'll disembark on the island.
A former political prisoner will be waiting for you there to guide you around the island. Together with the guide, you'll enter the infamous prison used to isolate certain groups of people since the 17th century, in addition to serving as a leper colony in the 19th and 20th centuries. Did you know that Nelson Mandela was one of its most famous prisoners?
After the visit to Robben Island, you'll take the boat back to Cape Town at 12:30 pm. You'll have an hour of free time to satisfy your appetite at a local restaurant, after which we'll go on a guided tour of the main monuments and attractions of this South African city.
We'll visit the Castle of Good Hope, the City Hall, Slave Lodge, the Zackarias Waganaer Reservoir, the House of Parliament, and the Company Gardens. We'll also visit Bo-Kaap, a formerly segregated area of Cape Town.
Finally, we'll head to the top of Signal Hill, where we'll take the cable car to Table Mountain. It'll take just 3 minutes to reach the top! There, we'll enjoy breathtaking views of Cape Town and its surroundings from different viewpoints.
We'll conclude the tour at your hotel after approximately 9 to 10 hours.
