Our adventure begins at the appointed time at Museo A la Batalla de Ideas, where we'll set off on a horse-drawn carriage ride through the picturesque streets of Cardenas. As we explore the town center, we'll also make a few stops to purchase fresh, local ingredients for our cooking class.
Once we arrive at the family home, we'll be warmly welcomed by our hosts, who will introduce us to the rich world of Cuban gastronomy. After settling in, you'll have the chance to relax and refresh with a dip in the pool before diving into the culinary experience.
Our hosts will give us a brief introduction to the recipes we'll be preparing, and then it's time to roll up our sleeves, put on our aprons, and get cooking! Together, we'll prepare some of the most iconic dishes of Cuban cuisine. But the experience doesn't end with cooking—we'll also taste our creations and toast to our success.
As part of the experience, you'll learn how to craft two traditional Cuban cocktails, including the world-famous mojito. And to top it all off, we'll finish with a rich, classic Cuban coffee—the perfect end to a flavorful journey.
