God's Bridge is a natural rock arch in Akchour, in the heart of Talassemtane National Park. Discover the beautiful landscapes of Morocco with this excursion from Chefchaouen.
Private Hike to Akchour's Bridge of God
Who said Morocco only has hot, dry deserts? Don't miss visiting one of the most beautiful green spaces in the country! We'll pick you up from your hotel in Chefchaouen city or at Place Mohammed V in Chefchaouen at 10 am and set off on our 50-minute minibus journey to the lush landscapes of Akchour. Next to this tiny village is one of the natural gems of the Rif Mountains: the Talassemtane National Park.
Arriving at the national park, we'll embark on a hiking route through Talassemtane. During the trail, which will last approximately two hours, we'll pass by the spectacular Farda River. If we remain silent for a few minutes, we can hear the flow of its waters from several meters away—a haven of peace and tranquility nestled in the dramatic Rif Mountains.
Our trek will continue onwards through Talassemtante National Park, taking us through the foothills of the mountains and leading us to a spectacular canyon where we'll see God's Bridge: a natural rock bridge that connects the walls of the canyon at almost 100 feet (30 meters) in height. Tilt your head back and look to the skies to admire this wonder of nature!
The hike through Talassemtane will conclude, returning to the starting point, where we'll hop back into the minibus for the journey back to Place Mohammed V. We'll arrive in Chefchaouen at around 2 pm.
