Evening Tour of Chiang Mai's Temples
On this half-day sunset tour, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Chang Mai and from here, we'll set off on a tour of Chiang Mai's most stunning temples at the most magical time of day.
After a short drive, we'll arrive at our first stop, Wat U-Mong. This 700-year-old temple built in 1297 is famous for its underground tunnels and forest surroundings. Exploring this site in the afternoon is perfect as there are fewer crowds and the views are stunning at this time of day.
During our visit, we'll explore the underground tunnels of Wat U-Mong, soak in the beauty of the temple grounds, and admire the surrounding forest. Did you know that many people say that the trees here offer words of wisdom for those who pass by?
Once we've finished here, we'll travel to Doi Suthep Temple and Wat Phra That Doi Suthep. Here, you'll delight in a spectacular sunset that lights up the elaborate architecture of the buildings in a breathtaking way—don't forget your camera! From this decorated temple, at the top of a 309-step staircase, we’ll admire unbeatable views of Chiang Mai at night.
Then, at dusk, you'll have the opportunity to enjoy a traditional monk ceremony at the Golden Pagoda. The perfect way to immerse yourself in genuine Thai culture!
Finally, after a total of 4.5 hours, we'll take you back to the starting point. See you again soon!

This activity includes hotel pickup and drop-off services from hotels located in the following areas:
- Downtown Chang Mai: hotels within a 2 km (1.2 miles) radius of the Tha Pae Gate
- Chang Klan Road and Thapae Road
- Wualai Road, the Night Bazaar area, Ton Lam Yai Market, and Kad Luang
If you're staying outside of these central areas, we'll meet you at a central meeting point instead.
