We’ll meet at Bonjour Café, right in the heart of Chisinau, to begin this free tour of the capital of the Republic of Moldova.
During the tour, we’ll stroll along the main avenues of the historic center to admire such iconic monuments and institutions as the Palace of the Republic, the Opera and Ballet Theater, the Moldovan Parliament, and 31 August Street.
Afterward, we’ll explore the places locals frequent most, such as Central Park or the picturesque area around Valea Morilor Lake.
Throughout the free tour, we’ll explain the most important chapters of Moldovan history and its most deeply rooted traditions. You’ll learn about key aspects of the region’s geopolitics and cultural diversity, and we’ll answer questions about what Gagauzia and Transnistria are and how they’re connected to Moldova.
Finally, we’ll wrap up the tour at the starting point between 2.5 and 3 hours later.
