Colombo Food Tour Itinerary

Having picked you up from your hotel in Colombo at 4 pm, we'll climb aboard a tuk tuk and embark on our guided food tour of Sri Lanka's largest city in search of its deliciously diverse flavours.

Our food tour of Colombo will take us to some of the best known places in the city to indulge in the most typical local delicacies. We'll begin by enjoying a welcome drink before heading to a food stall to taste one of the capital's star dishes, whose main ingredient is fried potatoes.

We'll then visit three more places to taste more of the delights of Sri Lankan cuisine. Pittu, a coconut and rice dish served with crab, the famous roti kottu, Maldives style katta sambal and of course the traditional hoppers, a type of crepe with an egg fried in it. Hope you're hungry!

For the finishing touch on the food tour, you'll be served a tea or coffee with a delicious Sri Lankan dessert.

After having indulged our tastebuds in the flavours of Colombo, the food tour will come to an end with drop off back at your hotel for 8 pm.
