Explore the spectacular landscapes of the Traslasierra Valley and visit its beautiful towns on this day trip from Córdoba.
Traslasierra Valley Day Trip
At the indicated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in the centre of Cordoba and head south to the beautiful Traslasierra Valley.
We'll travel on the RN20 road toward Flada del Carmen. During this trip, we'll pass by Las Varillas and enter the Traslasierra Valley, taking the Camino de las Altas Cumbres route. During the journey along these winding roads, we'll stop at natural paradises such as the Lágrima del Indio Waterfall, the fundación del Cóndor, the Pampa de Achala, and the source of the river Mina Clavero.
Our next stop will be in the town of Mina Clavero, where you'll have one hour free of free time to have lunch and enjoy the elephant spa, a natural swimming area on the banks of the Sauces River. You won't see any real elephants, but we'll tell you all about where it gets its name from!
In the afternoon, we'll continue the tour through other villages in the valley, such as Villa Cura Brochero and Nono. In this part of the trip, we'll cross the Cerros Nuños and explore the Museo Rocsen.
From here, we'll set off on the return journey, passing by other emblematic places in the province of Córdoba, like the famous Astrophysical Station of Bosque Alegre and the Observatorio Nacional.
