Delft's fascinating history and typical blue ceramics are just some of the reasons to visit this Dutch city. Discover it with this private tour that includes an exclusive guide for you and your group.
Delft Private Tour
We'll pick you up from your hotel in Delft at the agreed time and set off on our tour through the birth town of Johannes Vermeer, world-famous for his painting "Girl with a Pearl Earring". We'll follow the footsteps of the artist through some of the streets of the old town and see some of the places that inspired his works.
On the tour, you'll learn the fascinating story of the House of Orange-Nassau; Prince William of Orange, founder of the Dutch monarchy, was assassinated in front of the Convent of St. Agatha, which still preserves the bullet holes in its walls.
You'll also discover the tradition of Delftware ceramics, which have been made here since the 16th century. You can find out all about the manufacturing process of this incredible craft and its origins and even visit the Royal Delft factory for a guided tour.
