Discover one of the most important parts of the history of Ireland. When you visit EPIC, The Irish Emigration Museum, you'll find out what led thousands of people to leave their country.
What is the EPIC?
EPIC, The Irish Emigration Museum is a space that perfectly documents the Irish diaspora, a fundamental element in the history of Ireland. Located in the beautiful 19th-century Custom House Quay building, it houses touchscreens, audiovisual material and gramophones that bring to life the stories of thousands of people that had to emigrate from Ireland and start their lives over.
With your ticket, you'll discover the reasons that forced a large portion of the population to abandon their homeland, as well as the means by which they travelled and how these migrants left their cultural mark all around the world. This is a true journey through time!
