Discover the magnificent Perito Moreno Glacier. Kayak through Los Glaciares National Park and discover this unique natural environment. It'll take your breath away!
Kayaking in El Calafate
After picking you up from your hotels from 7:30 am, we'll leave El Calafate and head towards the Los Glaciares National Park, arriving by 11 am. We'll delve into this incredible environment, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, and admire the breathtaking Perito Moreno Glacier.
When we approach the shores of the glacier, it'll be time to get ourselves kitted out correctly to make sure we don't get cold: thermal suits, dry suits, boots and gloves. And we're ready!
The instructors will give you a short rowing theory class and go over some basic safety rules.
Then it'll be time to put the theory into practice - let's climb into the kayaks! You'll admire the Perito Moreno from a totally different perspective. This unforgettable kayaking experience will last about an hour and a half.
Afterwards, we'll enjoy a hot drink in a cabin. You'll get the photos from the day so you can show off your rowing skills to your friends and family. Once you've warmed up, you'll have an hour to walk around the glacier or enjoy your picnic.
At 4:30 pm we'll head back to El Calafate, arriving by around 6 pm.
This option includes pickup from hotels in the centre of El Calafate. If you are staying in other more remote areas, we will pick you up at the following address in the city: Calle 7 de Diciembre, number 31 (local 3).
Tour without transfers
Would you rather travel to the Perito Moreno glacier on your own? You can enjoy the same kayaking experience at a reduced price if you book without transfers.
If you do, you'll need to get to the lower car park by 11 am, where you'll meet your instructor. The car journey from El Calafate is about 80 kilometres, about an hour and a quarter.
