Translate this opinion into English.

The itinerary has been very interesting. Our guide Hicham is excellent, with a great culture and very knowledgeable about the history and traditions of Fez. Without him, we wouldn't have discovered places that are not mentioned in travel books. We were very lucky to have him as our guide. Opinion translated. Show original.

The guide was excellent, but the Medina is a garbage dump and the smells are terrible. I personally felt sick from the filth. I don't understand why they don't warn people about how dirty and frightening this place can be for women. Additionally, if you love animals, Fez is not the city to visit. There are dead cats all over the streets; nobody cares for the animals. We saw a cat bleeding from missing an ear and many other mistreated and malnourished animals. I wouldn't recommend this experience to anyone.

Yunes is a highly trained guide with perfect Spanish. He gave us a fantastic guided tour of the Medina, including all the main sights, and afterwards we visited other places in a minibus. He took us to a very nice restaurant for lunch. I would wholeheartedly recommend Yunes because, in addition to his extensive knowledge, he is very friendly and pleasant. Opinion translated.

It was a guided tour of about 6 hours through the Fez medina with a break in the middle for lunch (which we had on our own, as planned). The guide was friendly at first, but then, when she saw we weren't buying anything at the places we visited (a tile factory, a cosmetics factory, and the tanneries selling leather goods), her friendliness waned. Overall, we found the tour uninteresting and her friendliness somewhat forced. But it's difficult to get around without a guide.
