Ready to discover one of the most beautiful spots in Santa Catarina? To start the day off, we'll meet at the corner of Rua Conselheiro Cláudio de Vincenzi and Canasvieiras beach.
Before we set off, we'll have a safety briefing. And don't worry if you've never done this before... this activity is suitable for beginners and all ages!
Once everyone's ready, we'll start paddling along the northern coast of Florianópolis on a roughly 25-minute crossing to Ilha do Francês. Do you know how it got its name? We'll find out as we explore this pristine spot. As a protected natural area, the island has no infrastructure, cafés, bars, or restaurants, guaranteeing a true digital detox experience.
If wind and tide conditions are favorable, we'll spend another 25 minutes circling the island to take in its lush vegetation and waters that shift between turquoise blue and emerald green.
You'll then have 2 hours of free time on the island. It's the perfect moment to enjoy at your own pace: use the snorkeling gear to explore the coral reefs, swim in the crystal-clear water, relax on the sand, or break out your own snacks. You won't need to be paddling the whole time, so there's plenty of opportunity to recharge.
After soaking up this Santa Catarina paradise, we'll paddle the 25 minutes back to the meeting point in Florianópolis, wrapping up this 4-hour activity.
