Bien.

Okay. But we were told that the ticket didn't include the guided tour. It would be a good idea to clarify this when purchasing.

The castle is nice, well kept and the personnel very friendly, nevertheless we discovered once there that the visit DOES NOT include the visit to the tower, which is probably the most beautiful part, nor is there any mention of the fact that it can only happen with a guided tour. Not having this information took away the possibility for us to visit it, which is a pity, but also a lack of info on Civitatis part.

In the description on our website, we list everything that's included with admission. We're sorry you weren't able to see it earlier.

It has little to do with it, since the interior was converted into a government headquarters.

A rip-off. When I arrived at reception, they told me that buying the ticket through Civitatis didn't include a guide or access to the top of the castle. So it's completely worthless, because the best part is the panoramic views from the rooftop, and without the guide's explanation, you won't understand anything about the visit.

Translate this opinion into English.

Translate this opinion into English.

Construction began in the 13th century, but it took on its current appearance in the 15th century, as the stately residence of the Vivero family. Square in plan, it has circular towers at the corners, and on one side, a large rectangular keep, which juts out from the parade ground. It has had various palatial uses and was also the seat of the Cortes of Castile and León. Today, it is a castle interpretation center. Opinion translated. Show original.

We liked it a lot. Exceptional the kindness and disposition of the staff, both in the explanations and in making you feel comfortable and in integrating the children in the visit. We request a guided tour to access the keep. Keep in mind that the forecast is 1:30 am. I could not complete it due to unforeseen circumstances, but we will repeat soon. Opinion translated. Translate this opinion into English.

The building is very well preserved. We had the luxury of climbing the keep and taking in the wonderful views. The guides are very friendly and dynamic at all times. They have a beautiful photographic exhibition and a set of mannequins dressed in period clothes and set spaces that illustrate in detail how they lived then. Some very beautiful models of castles from the time. and finally they give you a small aperitif with local products to taste. Opinion translated. Show original.
