At the selected time, we'll depart from Sæból Street, from where we'll head towards the Grundarfjörður pier. Ready to paddle in the shelter of one of the most famous mountains in Europe?
On this Grundarfjörður kayak tour, we'll paddle along the peaceful Icelandic coastline while taking in the wonderful views that this glacial landscape has to offer.
We'll follow the guide paddling through the bay of Grundarfjörður, where we'll be able to admire from all angles the amazing shape of Kirkjuffell Mountain, one of the most photographed mountains in the Snæfellsnes Peninsula and in all of Iceland. Did you know that its name means "the church mountain"?
While paddling, you'll enjoy the views of the green Icelandic meadows surrounding this volcanic mountain, as well as breathing the fresh and crisp air of the Atlantic Ocean.
Finally, after two hours of paddling, we'll return to the pier, where we'll get out of the kayak and say goodbye after this unique experience.
