Tour Details
At the designated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Guadalajara to begin our adventure towards Tequila. The bus that we travel on includes a drinks service, so you can raise a toast with some tequila from the very first moment. Cheers! Additionally, you'll get to enjoy spectacular views of Jalisco's landscapes along the way.
Our first stop will be at Casa Sauza's agave fields. Here, you'll learn about the importance of agave in tequila production and you'll be able to experience a jima demonstration of these plants, as the traditional harvesting process is known. You'll also have the chance to plant your own agave, an experience that will make you feel connected to the earth.
Afterwards, we'll make our way to La Constancia Cellar and La Perseverancia Factory, both owned by Casa Sauza. At these historical facilities, you'll discover the ageing and production process of tequila, from the cooking of agave pines to the bottling process. Did you know that this is what gives tequila its characteristic flavour? You'll learn all about it on this tour!
After visiting the cellar and the factory, we'll enjoy a delicious buffet-style Mexican meal in a cosy and traditional venue, where you can try typical dishes like tacos, enchiladas, and guacamole, all prepared using fresh and authentic ingredients. To complete the experience, during lunch, we'll see a folkloric ballet show and mariachi music.
After this cultural and culinary feast, we'll hop back onto the bus. During our return journey to Guadalajara, you'll be able to continue making the most of the drinks service. Lastly, we'll say our goodbyes in front of the Camino Real Guadalajara Zapopan Hotel after a total of 9 hours.
