Portia Wine Cellar Tour

At the agreed time, we'll meet at the entrance to the Portia winery, located just outside of Gumiel de Izán. Are you ready for the most complete wine experience in the heart of Ribera del Duero?

We'll begin our journey in this beautiful winery in Burgos, which reflects surprising avant-garde architecture. Firstly we'll observe the fascinating three-petal shaped flower building, designed by Norman Foster himself, which has stood as an emblematic winery in the Ribera del Duero.

Accompanied by our oenology expert guide, we'll explore the different rooms of the winery and learn all about the process of making Portia wines: from what grapes they use to what their barrels are like? The one and a half-hour visit will leave allow us to discover a better understanding of how one of the worlds leading wines are made.

To round off the tour, we'll enjoy a guided tasting of three wines accompanied by an aperitif (savory in the morning and sweet in the afternoon). It'll be a truly unforgettable experience!
