Ha Giang 4 Day Tour Package

Day 1: Hanoi - Ha Giang

We'll hop onboard a comfortable minibus and depart from the centre of Hanoi towards Ha Giang. We'll arrive in this beautiful province in the north of Vietnam at around midday after a short stop halfway to stretch our legs.

Once in Ha Giang we'll set off on a jeep or motorbike tour across the most beautiful natural areas of the region. During this 3-hour journey, we'll head through the Geopark of Ha Giang, admiring magnificent mountain passes such as Heaven's Gate where we'll enjoy extraordinary panoramic views of the peaks and valleys that make up the beautiful natural landscape surrounding us.

At the end of our first day, we'll be welcomed into the home of a family from the H'Mong hill tribe where we'll enjoy a delicious homemade dinner. Throughout the evening they'll show us their customs and traditions in a cultural exchange that will allow us to get an insight into their way of life.

We'll stay the night in a shared room kindly provided for us by the family.

Day 2: Ha Giang - Quản Bạ - Đồng Văn - Mã Pí Lèng

In the morning we'll have breakfast in our accommodation and set off on a journey across beautiful areas of the Ha Giang province such as Quản Bạ and Đồng Văn before arriving at the famous Mã Pí Lèng pass. At an altitude of 1500 metres we'll enjoy breathtaking views!

Halfway through the journey we'll make a stop to enjoy the packed lunch prepared by our host family. We'll head back to their home in the late afternoon and share our experiences from the day with the other guests of the house and our hosts over dinner.

We'll spend the night here again.

Day 3: Yên Minh - Đồng Văn

After breakfast, we'll travel across the lush fields of Yên Minh to the Dong Van Karst Plateau Geopark: a spectacular protected natural area located on the border between Vietnam and China. Its forests, peaks and valleys will captivate you as you marvel at its incredible landscapes. After making a stop for lunch in the area, we'll return to our accommodation where we'll have dinner and get some rest.

Day 4: Du Già - Yên Minh - Hanói

First thing in the morning we'll have our last breakfast with the family and set off for the natural areas of Du Già and Yên Minh where we'll enjoy a refreshing dip in the river.

After enjoying a light lunch surrounded by nature, we'll return to our accommodation to pick up our luggage and thank the family for their hospitality over a farewell dinner.

At the end of the trip we'll take the bus back to Hanoi.

With this option, we'll tour the Vietnamese province of Ha Giang on board a Fortuner 4x4 jeep or a similar vehicle. Each of these vehicles has a maximum capacity of 5 people. If you don't have a driving license or would simply prefer to sit back and enjoy the local landscapes, you can occupy a passenger seat while the guide takes care of the driving.

If you'd like to drive, you must be over 18 years old and present a valid driving license for driving in Vietnam.
