SpainThe most interesting thing was seeing live music and watching how they play instruments from the country. The puppet show is a bit of a no-go.

Experience the essence of Vietnamese folklore with your tickets to the Hanoi water puppet show, an age-old tradition born in the Red River Delta that brings together live music, ancient legends, and folk art.
Catching a water puppet show at the historic Thăng Long Theater is one of the must-dos in Hanoi. With these skip-the-line tickets, you'll avoid the long queues at the ticket office.
Once in your seats, you'll watch a fascinating 50-minute show performed on an illuminated pool of water. Throughout the performance, master puppeteers hidden behind a bamboo screen bring colorful wooden puppets to life using long rods.
The repertoire includes traditional scenes depicting rural Vietnamese life, such as rice planting, fishing, and playing the flute on the back of a water buffalo, alongside sacred dances like the dragon and phoenix dance.
The puppets will also entertain you with comic sketches featuring the character Tễu, boat races, and famous national legends, such as the story of King Lê Lợi and the golden turtle of Hoàn Kiếm Lake.
At the end of this display of color, traditional music, and history, the experience comes to a close at the theater itself.
