The tunnel section is amazing, and you learn a lot of history; it's truly impressive. But it's a quick tour, and you only go through about 20 or 40 meters of tunnels. I wish they had told us more and made more stops during the tour. To spend two hours there, the bus ride takes over three hours each way, between picking up people and being stopped halfway (when you can actually get there in an hour and a half from Ho Chi Minh City).

The tour of the Cu Chi Tunnels was very good. Our guide, Eli, explained everything brilliantly and gave us plenty of information to understand the context and the situation. However, on the way there, they make a stop at a local craft shop. You lose about 30 minutes. Then, during the tour inside, you have to wait for those who want to practice shooting, another 45 minutes wasted. The tour could be shortened and be more productive. In the end, you feel like you've wasted the whole day.

We had the misfortune of being assigned Thuan as our guide. We didn't like him at all; he didn't explain things well, and worse, he was constantly rushing us. Every time we asked a question, he gave us a dirty look. We didn't feel safe when we had to explore inside the tunnels. Aside from the guide, the tour was a disgrace to tourists. I don't recommend it; it's not worth it, especially not with Civitatis. Other companies there looked much better.

Deberian controlar aforo

What should have been an interesting visit turns into a theme park. They make a stop on the way there (a tourist trap) where napalm survivors make handicrafts and paintings to sell (at exorbitant prices for the country). In the tunnels, there were about 10 different groups speaking different languages (easily 30 people each) seeing the same thing, which made it difficult to see and understand the guide's explanations. The option to shoot was good (expensive), but that's about it. The tour was disappointing. They should control the number of people allowed in.

It's good because they take you there and back, but honestly, we didn't understand almost anything the guide was saying to us and it's a shame because I think it was very interesting, but his English wasn't the best... Honestly, I think it would have been better to manage our own transportation and get an audio guide.

The guide was very good, explaining everything in detail and paying close attention to the group. But the tour felt a bit rushed, perhaps if they hadn't made such a long stop before arriving... they took you to a place where they painted paintings. And once inside, since it's a group tour, you stop at the most important spots. The good thing is that they take you there and back...

A very convenient option for exploring the tunnels during our stay in Ho Chi Minh City. We returned to the city around 3:00 PM and the tour was very enjoyable, with interesting explanations. You lose some time because you stop at a craft shop and also because you have to wait for the group members who decide to shoot at the shooting range, but otherwise, it's highly recommended and at an unbeatable price.
