On the day of the activity, at the scheduled time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Ho Chi Minh and begin our journey, passing along the Saigon-Trung Luong Freeway and the Rach Mieu Bridge, until we reach Ben Tre. Ready for an adventure? Let's go!
Once there, we'll hop on our boat which will take us along the Tien River, which forms part of the larger Mekong. As we wind down this stunning river, we'll make several stops along the way at various local workplaces, offering us a glimpse into the local economy.
One of our stops will be at a coconut processing workshop where we'll try fresh coconut and see how no part of this delicious fruit goes to waste. As we continue our journey, we'll have some privileged views of the countryside before we get brought down narrow rural roads by horse and cart.
Following on from this, we'll take a boat ride through the Tan Thach natural canal in Ben Tre. Then, we'll delight in a sumptuous lunch at a local restaurant, savouring some special local-style cuisine. Once we've eaten, we'll visit Pomelo Garden on the island, where we'll learn about the dense fruit trees and local agriculture.
In the afternoon, our adventure will continue with a visit to a bee farm on another island. Here, we'll have the chance to enjoy some honey tea, sample local products and listen to traditional music - a real immersive cultural experience! Then, our last stop will be at Vinh Trang Pagoda in My Tho City. This stunning location will provide us with a truly tranquil end to this amazing tour.
