First thing in the morning we'll pick you up from your hotel in Hoi An to make our way to an artisanal Vietnamese workshop, where we'll learn to make the famous lanterns which illuminate the city.
Did you know that Hoi An is known as the city of a thousand colours? The lanterns are one of the main attractions in the city, and in the workshop we'll explain the origin of this magical tradition, discovering the secrets behind their shape and colours.
Then you can put your creativity to the test, learning to make your very own lanterns! Guided on the way be expert artisans, and with patience aplenty, we'll design and make our own lantern, and you can take it home as a souvenir of an incredible trip.
Then, following four hours discovering the artisanal heritage of Hoi An, we'll return to your hotel by bike.
