Covered Japanese Bridge in Hoi An
Passing through the streets of Hoi An
House in Hoi An
A Hoi An art gallery
The old Tan Ky house

Itinerary

On this half day tour you can discover the treasures of Hoi An, one of the must-see jewels in Vietnam. We'll begin at 8 am, where an English speaking guide will pick you up at your hotel, taking you to the old town, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Once there you're sure to be amazed as you walk through its delightful coloured streets, many of which on the banks of the Thu Bon river, the very same which made this a strategic point for trade.

You'll learn the history of the city first hand, known for its artistic and cultural heritage, with ample proof provided in the Quan Cong temple and the Phuc Kien assembly hall, both of which you will visit on your tour. Both places are evidence of the Chinese legacy left in Hoi An.

This mixture of cultures is evident throughout the tour, especially in the  Phung Hung house, combining elements of Chinese, Japanese and Vietnamese influences. And we'll also tour the old Tan Ky house, a famous 17th century building which once belonged to a Mandarin businessman.

Another of the obligatory stops on this tour is the covered Japanese Bridge, one of the most beautiful in all Vietnam - and fully immersed in the cultural diversity of Hoi An, and having visited some of its art galleries, you'll have free time to go shopping or wander the centre of the city.

With the tour over, the guide will take you back to your hotel.
