Activity Details

At the designated time, we'll meet at the store located at Dorfstrasse 103, in the picturesque Alpine town of Grindelwald, where we'll start an unforgettable snowshoe tour. On this moderate-level hike, we'll walk a stretch of about 2.48 mi (4 km) for 2 to 2.5 hours.

Our route will take place in the foothills of Wetterhorn, a spectacular mountain of the Bernese Alps that reaches an altitude of 12,112 ft (3,692 m). To reach this mountain, we'll first cross the mountain pass of Grosse Scheidegg. Afterward, we'll explore the beautiful Alpine forest and snow-covered meadows. Plus, during the route, we'll admire the glacier of Upper Grindelwald.

As we walk with our snowshoes, you'll also see the Schwarzhorn mountain from far away. Then, we'll pass by the Alpine Bird Park and see the north face of the peak of Eiger, one of the most iconic destinations in the Swiss Alps. Its landscapes will captivate you!

Finally, we'll walk back to the starting point in Grindelwald. Arrival is estimated to be 4 hours after pickup.
