Death Road Bike Tour

At 7:30 am, we'll pick you up at your hotel in La Paz. From here, the bus we'll take us 1 hour away to La Cumbre, located at 4700 meters above sea level, where the Route of Death begins. Are you ready?

We'll get on our bikes and start pedalling down a 20-kilometre slope until we reach the tourist control point. Then we'll continue through the winding and rocky roads that are typical of this route, also known as Camino a Los Yungas. Impressive, isn't it?

When we reach the end of this road, we'll stop for a sandwich to get our strength back. Afterwards, the adventure will carry on to one of the most beautiful routes of the day, 32 kilometres long, going past waterfalls and abundant nature.

Finally, we'll reach the village of Yolosa, where we'll have a well-deserved buffet lunch at a local restaurant. You can also take a dip in the pool and relax after the activity.

The tour will end between 7:30 and 8 pm at the Mercado de las Brujas de La Paz, specifically on Santa Cruz Street.

Types of Bikes

We have two types of bikes for the tour:

Double suspension bikes: they are recommended for people who have less experience in handling them. They give a lot of stability and comfort, as well as being equipped with Hayes hydraulic brakes.
Single suspension bikes: recommended for clients with more experience with high mountain bikes. They are more rigid so their use becomes more difficult.
