Travel back in time to the Middle Ages with this day trip to the beautiful town of Siurana in Tarragona, as well as tasting some of the finest Priorat wines!
Siurana Day Trip
After picking you up from your hotel in La Pineda at 9 am, we'll set off for the beautiful wine regions located in the interior of the province of Tarragona.
First, we'll head to a winery for a guided tour. We'll find out lots of fascinating information about wine production such as how long they must be matured in the barrel, the optimum storage temperature and much more. What's more, at the end of the visit, we'll enjoy a tasting of four different Priorat wines and learn to distinguish their different aromas and flavours.
Afterwards we'll make our way to the beautiful medieval village of Siurana. Did you know it has only 27 inhabitants? We'll go on a 45-minute walking tour to find out all about this fascinating village and admire its main monument, the Iglesia de Santa María, a church that dates back to the 12th century.
At the end of the trip, we'll make our way back to La Pineda, arriving by around 1 pm.
