Muchas gracias! Translate this opinion into English.

Translate this opinion into English.

This activity is highly recommended because, besides providing context on the island's history, the explanation is incredibly engaging. Even if you've prepared for the visit—as was my case—you'll still be pleasantly surprised by facts and details you didn't know. My guide was Monica, who made the tour both enjoyable and informative. I was completely pleasantly surprised; I think it's a must-do tour at the beginning of your visit to Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. It will allow you to learn about the island's history and interesting facts in a very enjoyable way. The guide, Mónica, did a spectacular job. Her way of gamifying the tour is very ingenious, keeping your attention at all times—a skill that's not easy to master. She's very confident, knowledgeable, and passionate; she's very pleasant and gives valuable recommendations. Opinion translated. Show original.

No tenemos palabras sinceramente. Translate this opinion into English.

The experience was wonderfully good, Javier Fernández Santana was our guide and it's not just how he explained things, it's the enthusiasm and excitement with which he did it, he interacts with us, making us part of the story. We honestly have no words. Opinion translated. Show original.

Translate this opinion into English.

Our guide Monica was very professional; it was clear she enjoyed her work. She kept everyone engaged, playing games and even dressing people up as historical figures. She also gave us a sheet with lots of recommendations about the island, including where to eat and what to see. Despite its length, it was definitely a very enjoyable and entertaining tour. Translate this opinion into English.

Our guide Aída was fantastic. It's been a long time since I've enjoyed a free tour so much. She made us savor every minute with her knowledge of Canarian history and her professionalism, especially considering her young age. A 10 out of 10 because she couldn't have done any better. Congratulations, Aída! Opinion translated. Show original.

Translate this opinion into English.

Good You can tell that the guide knows history, but she needs to adapt a bit more to the audience. In the end, it's almost 3 hours of tour and too much information for an average person who is just on vacation. Maybe 2 hours would have been more than enough. The guide, I insist, is very knowledgeable, but the activity needs to be tailored to the average tourist. It's just constructive criticism. Opinion translated. Show original.

Translate this opinion into English.

We got Javi as our guide, and he's the best! It was a super fun tour that included games to make it even more enjoyable. En definitiva un 10 Translate this opinion into English.

Translate this opinion into English.

It has been one of the best tours of my life and I travel a lot. Javier shares many historical facts, has excellent rapport with visitors, and keeps everyone's attention with different activities. The worst part: the people who book and don't show up or those who disappear during the tour. If you come to Las Palmas, I recommend this visit with Javier to understand the importance of Gran Canaria. Opinion translated. Show original.

Translate this opinion into English.

The guide was very kind and friendly, she taught us a lot about the history of the city and the history of the island in general, and she made it fun and enjoyable during the almost three hours that the guided tour lasted, making an effort, using visual aids, to explain the city and the important places to go after the visit.

The guide was very knowledgeable, very friendly, but from our point of view, there was too much information about dates and names. A bit too much of a historian, lacking a bit more dynamism. It has recently become fashionable to play games and assign names to clients and contests. We don't like that at all. A tour has always been a guide who shows you the most memorable aspects of a city, pleasant and above all knowledgeable about where you are at that moment. For the history of the place, there are books for each person to inform themselves about what they want. Opinion translated. Show original.

Excelente experiencia. Translate this opinion into English.

Excellent experience. It's clear the guide knows the city perfectly and enjoys sharing its history. The explanations were very thorough, always accompanied by interesting facts and practical recommendations for further exploration on our own. The tour was very enjoyable and felt far too short.

This time I did it with my partner, who hadn't had the experience before, and I told him, "Free walking tours are generally good and fun." He wasn't too convinced. Luckily, we got a really nice, intelligent woman who was passionate about her work. We played games, she showed us illustrations, and we learned a lot of important information that helped us for the rest of our time on the island. We had set a budget for the free walking tour, but we ended up increasing it because we enjoyed it so much. Opinion translated. Show original.
