Leticia Indigenous Community Day Trip
Day Trip Details
At the indicated time, we'll meet at the tourist boardwalk in Leticia. What does this tour have in store for us? Nothing less than a visit to an indigenous maloca. Here we go!
We'll find out all about the local way of life for the people of this village. When we arrive, the inhabitants will welcome us with open arms and introduce us to their ancestral beliefs and customs. Then, it's time for the ritual to begin. During the ceremony, the Ticunas will tell us all about their vision of life and the universe.
Then, we'll move on to a natural painting workshop and enjoy some fun community games. When we finish, we'll accompany the Ticuna families for a walk along the ancient trails that surround the settlement. Along the way, we'll learn about the healing power of plants and the importance this has for these people.
After 3 hours of discovering a new culture, we'll return to the departure point.
