Sail the waters of the Tyrrhenian Sea and visit the islands of Stromboli and Panarea with this excursion from Lipari. Seafront homes, beautiful coves and a magical volcanic spectacle await!
Stromboli & Panarea Day Trip
At the indicated time, we'll meet at Piazza di Marina Corta and board a boat to sail across the Tyrrhenian Sea. Leaving Lipari behind, we'll sail to Panarea, the second smallest island of the volcanic Aeolian archipelago.
After disembarking in Panarea, you'll have two hours of free time to explore the area. We recommend taking a hiking route to visit Cala Junco, one of its most famous beaches. Aside from admiring its crystal clear waters, you'll find the remains of an ancient settlement dating back to 1400 BC!
We'll regroup at the port of Panarea and set sail for Stromboli. Weather permitting, about halfway there we'll make a stop for you to take a dip in the open sea.
Then, we'll dock at Stromboli and leave you another two hours free. During this time, you can taste the exquisite local cuisine, stroll through the fishermen's quarter or go to the viewpoint in Piazza San Vincenzo, where you'll fall in love with views of the volcanic sea stack of Strombolicchio. If you want, you can also go for a swim at Ficogrande, a beach that is sure to catch your attention with its black sand.
At sunset, we'll return to the boat to start on our way back to Lipari. To top off the trip, we'll get to see the lava gushing from the slopes of Stromboli!
The excursion will conclude with our arrival at the starting point, between eight and nine hours after our initial departure from Lipari.
