London at Christmas

At the time indicated, we'll meet next to the statue of Charles I, in Trafalgar Square. From here, we'll start this free Christmas tour in London, a walking route in which we'll see how the capital of the UK is decorated to celebrate this festive time of advent.

What are the most typical British Christmas treats? How do they celebrate this holiday? Is it true that Christmas was banned by Oliver Cromwell? As we walk, we'll learn lots of facts about how this holiday has developed and changed over the years.

During the free tour, we'll admire the Christmas lights on Regent Street, explore Piccadilly Circus and see the different wooden huts in the Christmas markets in Leicester Square. Bring your cameras!

Additionally, we'll talk about one of the most famous literary pieces of work, Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol. To best understand the inspiration for this tale, we'll explore Cecil Court, a real icon of mysteries and legends.

After 1.5 hours of walking, we'll end this activity at Covent Garden Market. You'll be amazed by it's Christmas tree!
