Embark on a free walking tour of London and discover the city’s fascinating history as you stroll through its historic centre, packed with iconic landmarks such as Buckingham Palace, St James’s Park and Westminster Abbey.

Tour Details

Join a guide specialising in the history of London as we explore a city that has perfectly preserved its essence despite evolving at a rapid pace. Did you know it’s one of the most visited cities in Europe? Let’s set off on our free tour of London!

During the tour, we’ll pass St James’s Palace on our way to the imposing Buckingham Palace. As well as learning the most important facts about the British Royal Family, we’ll watch, weather permitting, the famous Changing of the Guard, where the royal guards parade past the palace.

We’ll also walk along The Mall and stroll past St James’s Park, the city’s oldest royal park. After this walk through the green heart of London, we’ll reach Westminster Abbey, the city’s oldest church and a witness to major national events such as coronations, weddings and royal funerals.

Towards the end of the tour, Westminster Palace, the seat of Parliament, awaits us. We’ll admire the iconic façade of this building situated on the banks of the Thames whilst learning about much of the country’s political history. We’ll discover where the House of Lords and the House of Commons are located and, to round off the tour in style, we’ll see Big Ben.

After a tour lasting between 2.5 and 3 hours, we’ll say our goodbyes in the area around Big Ben and the London Eye.
