Tangkoko Nature Reserve: 3 Day Private Tour
Day 1
At the scheduled time, we'll pick you up from your hotel or from the airport in Manado. From there, we'll take you to the base of Mount Mahawu for a tranquil 10-minute walk up to the top of the volcano to admire the breathtaking views over the crater. Is there a better way to start the day? We don't think so!
We'll then drive to the village of Woloan, where we'll visit its Buddhist temple surrounded by beautiful flower plantations. Afterwards, we'll head back towards the Minahasa Highlands, where the old World War II tunnel system is located.
Finally, we'll enter the Tangkoko Nature Reserve, a protected national park known for its unique wildlife. We'll spend the night in the nature reserve for an unforgettable wilderness experience.
Day 2
At 6 am, before breakfast, we'll get ready to meet some of North Sulawesi's most amazing native wildlife. If we're lucky, we might see the black-crested macaque, tarsiers, or even the curious endangered marsupial known as the bear cuscus.
We'll then return to the hotel for breakfast, before spending the rest of the day discovering more of the animals in the Tangkoko Nature Reserve. This is a must-do for wildlife lovers!
Day 3
On the last day, we'll enjoy a hearty breakfast overlooking the Tangkoko Nature Reserve, before driving you back to Manado Airport, where we'll bid you farewell until the next adventure.
Accommodation
This three-day tour includes the first night's accommodation at Tangkoko Hill Cottage and the second night at Tangkoko Lodge or similar.
