We'll gather in front of the Radisson Blu Hotel in Marseille at the designated time, ready to embark on an adventure into the heart of Provence, specifically to the enchanting Valensole plateau. As we embark on the 45-minute drive, winding roads will guide us alongside sprawling lavender fields, while our knowledgeable driver shares intriguing stories about this remarkable region.
Prepare to indulge your senses as we immerse ourselves in the aromatic and vibrant world of lavender during our tour of Valensole. Our first stop will allow us to wander through picturesque lavender fields, capturing stunning photos and marveling at their incredible beauty.
Continuing our journey, our friendly driver will teach us more about this iconic Provencal flower. Here, we'll gain insights into the characteristics and craftsmanship behind their lavender-infused products, such as essential oils & honey.
After exploring the lavender fields, our excursion will lead us to Moustiers-Sainte-Marie. Perched atop limestone cliffs, this village is renowned for its earthenware workshops. You'll have free time to explore the village at your own pace and grab some lunch.
Once rejuvenated, we'll regroup to admire the breathtaking vistas of the Verdon Gorge, taking in even more stunning scenes of lavender fields. The landscape will truly leave you in awe.
