Discover Australia's exceptional wildlife with this day trip to Healesville Sanctuary. You'll also ride on the iconic Puffing Billy steam train!
On the morning of the tour, we will pick you up from the Windsor Hotel in Melbourne. From there, we'll head to our first destination, Belgrave railway station, where we'll hop on the famous Puffing Billy steam train.
Along the way, the train will make a stop along the foothills of the Dandenong Ranges - no doubt the best way to start the day!
Then, we'll continue on our way and head back to the Puffing Billy train for a magical train ride through the lush vegetation of the Dandenong Ranges. A whimsical adventure you don't want to miss.
After this train ride through nature, the group will get back on the minibus and go to Healesville Sanctuary, a natural refuge home to a wide variety of species native to Australia. You'll get to see kangaroos, koalas, platypuses, dingos, emus, and many more fascinating animals.
Our final stop will be the Yarra Valley Chocolaterie & Ice Creamery, a haven for chocolate lovers. Here, you'll get to sample some of the shop's specialties and enjoy some free time to pick up some delicious sweets to take home.
At the end of the tour, we will bring you back to the meeting point in Melbourne, arriving after a total of around 9 hours.
