Day Trip Details
At the time of your choice, we'll pick you up from the Museo de Arte Contemporáneo de Monterrey and hit the road for Santiago, named one of Mexico's famous Pueblo Mágicos.
First, we'll stop in the outskirts of the municipality to admire two renowned waterfalls in the region: Puente de la Cruz and Velo de Novia. The latter, 'Bridal Veil' falls in English, boasts a height of 50 meters and has a peculiar shape that gives rise to its name. After marveling at the falls, we'll continue to the viewpoint of Sierra Madre Occidental and Sierra de la Silla, from which you can enjoy exceptional views of the pine, oak and mesquite forests.
Then, it's off to see the popular Presa La Boca dam and the Cola de Caballo waterfall boasting a 25-meter drop. While you enjoy this natural environment, you'll have some free time to explore on your own. If you'd like, you can even take a catamaran ride, a kayak or quad tour, or go on a horseback ride!
Our next stop will be the Los Cavazos workshop, where you can admire the most exclusive pieces of craftsmanship, after which you'll have an hour to enjoy at your leisure.
Once we arrive in the town of Santiago, we'll take a guided tour of the city's historic center. Walking through Plaza Ocampo, you can see the baroque church of Santiago Apostle and admire the remains of the town's ancient aqueduct.
After almost 7 hours of exploring Santiago and its surroundings, we'll take you back to the meeting point in Monterrey.
