3-Day Safari Details
Day 1: Nairobi – Maasai Mara
We'll pick you up from your hotel in Nairobi or the designated meeting point at the indicated time. Once we're all together, we'll begin our approximately 4.5-hour drive to the Maasai Mara, one of the most important national parks in Kenya.
The journey will take us through the beautifully rugged landscapes of the Great Rift Valley. Lions, cheetahs, and elephants... That's right! We'll make a stop at the viewpoint for some incredible photos for about 10 to 15 minutes, before continuing on to camp. As we arrive, we'll leave our luggage and replenish our energy with some lunch.
At sunset, we'll hop back in the vehicle and go on a sunset game drive within the Mara Reserve. After a thrilling 2-hour drive through the area, we'll head back to camp to enjoy a buffet dinner.
Day 2: Maasai Mara
Good morning from the Maasai Mara! We'll kick off the day with a strong breakfast before hopping back into our vehicle and setting off on a full-day safari.
As we explore the entire reserve, we'll keep our eyes peeled for the famous “Big Five.” While sprawling landscapes pass us by, we'll try our best to spot different lions, leopards, rhinoceroses, elephants, and African buffalo. What's more, we'll learn all about the famous migrations of the animals that inhabit this area of Africa.
We'll stop for a picnic lunch at around midday before continuing our safari adventure. Following lunch, we'll visit the site of the yearly wildebeest migration and spot local crocodiles and hippos lounging in the banks along the Mara River. Did you know that over 1.5 million animals migrate year-round from the Serengeti to the Mara in search of fresh pasture and water?
As the day winds to an end, we'll return to camp, where dinner awaits us. Afterward, the rest of the evening is yours to enjoy and rest up for our final day of adventure.
Day 3: Maasai Mara – Nairobi
Having eaten breakfast, we'll leave the camp in Masai behind and set off back to Nairobi with memories of an incredible experience.
As we make our way back to the capital, we'll make a stop to enjoy the lunch provided before dropping you back off at your hotel in the afternoon.
Pickup Info
This activity includes pickup from hotels within the downtown district of Nairobi. If you're staying outside this area we'll meet at the central City Market instead. If you'd like to be picked up from another area, or from the airport, you'll have to pay an extra fee.

This safari includes 2 nights' accommodation with breakfast and dinner at the Rhino Tourist Camp or similar.
Maasai Mara Hot Air Balloon

Maasai Village Visit
Upgrade your experience to include a visit to a Masai Village! On the way back to Nairobi, we can make an additional stop at a traditional Maasai Village upon leaving the reserve. Here, we'll learn about the remarkable cultural heritage of the Masai community, and speak with locals to learn about their daily lives.
