Enjoy a unique experience visiting Big Mayor Key, with this Pig Island Tour. You'll share a day with its most beloved inhabitants and get up close to iguanas and sharks!
Pig Island Tour
We'll meet at 6:30 am at Nassau Airport to board a small plane that will take us to glide over the Exuma Islands, towards Staniel Cay. There, we'll get to know the most beloved inhabitants of Pig Beach, officially called Big Major Cay. We'll see dozens of these adorable animals cooling off in the sea and resting on the shore. We'll even go into the water to swim with the pigs, as well as hug them and feed them - did you know they like to eat melon?
The next stop will be Compass Cay, home to sharks. Here we'll discover the story of Tucker, the owner of the islet who was able to train these creatures.
We'll then sail to Bitter Guana Cay, where we'll meet its most popular inhabitants: the iguanas. We'll walk along the shore to greet them and if we give them food they will be very friendly. Don't be intimidated by their appearance!
Finally, we'll head for the Thunderball Grotto where we can snorkel in the crystal-clear Caribbean Sea surrounded by thousands of tropical fish.
You'll have free time to get lunch, before we return to the airport for our flight back to the starting point in Nassau, where we'll arrive back at 4 pm.
