Hey, Upper East Siders! Gossip Girl here, ready to kick off a tour of the locations from the iconic series. We’ll be visiting the spots in Manhattan that the main characters used to frequent throughout the six seasons.
At the indicated time, we’ll meet in the main concourse of Grand Central Terminal, where Serena van der Woodsen appears in the series’ first episode. From there, we’ll head over to the Yale Club, a symbol of Blair and Nate’s academic ambitions: they both dreamed of going to Yale.
Next, we’ll walk down Madison Avenue toward the building that served as the setting for Constance Billard and St. Jude’s School: the Museum of the City of New York. Here, we’ll recall Blair's power plays, Jenny’s antics, and Dan’s role as the eternal outsider. It’s also the perfect spot to take photos on the iconic entrance staircase.
Our next stop? Ladurée, Blair Waldorf’s favorite bakery. You’ll have 15 to 20 minutes to explore this iconic spot and enjoy the macarons on your own. In Blair’s own words: “Who needs a boyfriend when you have dessert?”
Next, we’ll head to the steps of the Metropolitan Museum of Art. There, we’ll relive the tensions, strategies, and schemes where alliances were forged, and reputations crumbled in the series. We’ll then continue on to Central Park for a stroll from east to west, recalling the characters’ most romantic moments.
We’ll arrive at the Bethesda Terrace and fountain, the setting for Blair and Chuck’s wedding. We’ll wrap up the tour at the Empire Hotel, where we’ll admire its unmistakable red sign and say our goodbyes with plenty of photos and memories after a 3-hour tour.
