What Awaits You at SUMMIT
New York City has no shortage of iconic viewpoints, but few can match what SUMMIT One Vanderbilt has to offer. Located just steps from the legendary Grand Central Terminal, this one-of-a-kind attraction combines sweeping views of the New York skyline with a series of immersive multi-sensory experiences that are unlike anything else in the city.
Included in all SUMMIT Entry Tickets:
- Air art installation by Kenzo Digital: This multi-media art installation is spread across four unique spaces: Transcendence 1 and 2 with the amazing mirrored surfaces; Affinity, the famous balloon room; and Unity, where visitors become part of the experience itself.
- Levitation: Venture out onto two glass ledges suspended 92 floors over Madison Avenue!
- Reflect: CLOUDS is a celebrated stainless-steel installation by renowned Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama.
- Après: Enjoy a curated food and cocktail selection in a Nordic-style café surrounded by unbeatable views.
- Terrace: Take in the fresh air and the stunning views from 93 floors above New York on the open-air wrap-around terrace!
- Boutique: Capture the memory of your experience with a memento from SUMMIT.
With this ticket to SUMMIT One Vanderbilt, you’ll have access to all 3 of its top floors. Come and see iconic NYC buildings such as the Chrysler and the Empire State Building, and iconic landmarks such as Central Park and Bryant Park from high up above!
Any time of day is perfect for visiting SUMMIT. During the day, you'll be swept away by the play of light created by the immersive art installations by Kenzo Digital. At night, you'll experience the magic of Air: Beacon Mode, when vibrant surges of color electrify the air.
Ticket Types
During the booking process, you can choose between the following types of tickets:
SUMMIT Experience
This is the general ticket. It includes access to the three levels of immersive experiences that cover art and emotions while enjoying 360-degree views.
SUMMIT Signature
With this option, you'll get to enjoy a beverage at the SUMMIT bar. You can pick either an alcoholic or a non-alcoholic drink at one of the most scenic bars in the city.
SUMMIT Ascent
Want to take the adrenaline up a notch? With the SUMMIT Ascent option, you won't just enjoy the full experience at the observation deck; you'll get to live the most exciting moment of the visit: a ride in a glass elevator on the outside of the skyscraper!
This option lets you ascend 12 floors up the side of One Vanderbilt in a fully transparent cabin, reaching a height of 364 meters (1,194 feet), the highest observation point in all of Midtown Manhattan. The unobstructed floor-to-ceiling views as the elevator climbs the facade will give you a perspective of the New York City skyline you'll never forget.
SUMMIT Premium Experience
If you'd prefer to visit like a VIP and learn more about the building and art at SUMMIT, you also have the option of a 90-minute guided tour. On this tour, you'll avoid the lines and explore the best viewpoints that Manhattan has to offer. The guide will share all the secrets of this building's avant-garde architecture and impressive art by Kenzo Digital. Plus, this guided tour includes a pack of digital photos that you can take home as a special souvenir.
The meeting point will be in front of the stairs of the MTA, on the left of the entrance. Please arrive at the meeting point 15 minutes beforehand so the tour can begin at the designated time.
