We'll pick you up at your hotel and head to Falmouth, a town located west of Ocho Rios, famous for being the home of one of the greatest treasures of the island of Jamaica. Ready for this day trip? Let's go!
As an option, we can stop at a craft market before reaching our destination. Once we arrive, we'll head to one of the four corners of the world where you can witness this dazzling natural phenomenon, which happens when night falls. We'll start a 40-minute boat ride, entering the famous Luminous Lagoon.
But what makes it so special? This place is home to millions of microscopic organisms that emit fluorescent light when they are touched, making it look like the starry sky has been poured into the lagoon. It's a sparkly spectacle you don't want to miss!
During the journey, we'll stop for you to take a relaxing swim in the sparkling waters of this bioluminescent lagoon if you want, or you can simply relax with the views. Afterward, we'll head to a restaurant so you can grab a bite for dinner. You can enjoy jerky chicken, fish, or curry.
We'll end our nighttime trip by returning to your hotel, where we'll say our goodbyes 3 to 4 hours later.
