Génova Caves Tickets
Génova Caves Ticket
In the heart of the residential neighborhood of Génova lies Palma de Mallorca’s most significant geological treasure: the Génova Caves.
This underground wonder was discovered by accident during an excavation in 1906, and since then, geologists have continued to investigate its origins. Thanks to the action of water droplets, a wide variety of stalactites and stalagmites have been naturally formed.
Did you know that in prehistoric times they served as a refuge for our hominid ancestors? Incredible!
What to See in the Genoa Caves?
With this ticket, you’ll have access to the approximately 0,62-mi (1 km) tour of this network of underground galleries. Along the way, you’ll descend 118 ft (36 m) below ground and walk through naturally formed passages.
You’ll marvel at all the colorful rock formations that make up this stunning site, and if you look closely, you’ll see that some even resemble popcorn or cauliflower. You won’t regret it!
Opening Times
The caves are open from Monday to Sunday, from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm.
