Sierra Nevada Jeep Tour

At 10 am, we'll meet at the Plaza de la Libertad in Pampaneira and you'll hop on a jeep to start this adventure.

On this tour, the driver will act as your guide and tell you all about the Sierra Nevada National Park. We'll enjoy the vast flora and incredible fauna of this protected natural area as we drive through its valleys and mountains.

Our first stop will be a spot that not many tourists know about: the Atalaya Buddhist Center. We'll admire the exterior of this spiritual retreat center while we learn the reasons why a Tibetan temple was built in this area. Hint: an energy triangle.

We'll walk along the edge of the Poqueira ravine, admiring the white villages in this area until we reach the forest reserve of El Puntal. Here, we'll stop for a light snack consisting of Alpujarra cold meat, a traditional sweet and wine of the region, or a soft drink.

Next, we'll head to Puente Palo where we'll discover a beautiful forest with pines, oaks, holm oaks, and chestnut trees. You'll be able to explore the forest and take pictures of the alluring natural landscapes. Especially the Tajo del Posito area with its incredible views of the Lanjaron river.

Lastly we'll head to the starting point in Pampaneira, ending the tour at 3 pm.
