Discover a unique place on our day trip to the Las Coloradas Natural Park from Riviera Maya. We'll admire the vibrant and colourful lagoons and sail along the Lagartos River.
Having picked you up from your hotel in Riviera Maya at the designated time, we'll set off northbound for the Lagartos River Natural Reserve.
When we get there, we'll hop on a speedboat to discover the natural treasures hidden on the coasts of the Yucatán Peninsula. We'll travel along the Lagartos River and pass through an area with mangroves, where we'll spot the flamingoes that live in this part of Mexico and some other bird species.
Our boat will then take us straight to the uniquely beautiful Las Coloradas complex. Its high concentration of salt and microscopic algae has turned the water beautiful shades of yellow, orange and pink, creating a magical color effect.
Before our boat trip comes to an end, we'll make a stop for a Mayan beauty treatment. Join us to find out what this will be! Additionally, depending on availability. we'll take some time to do a tour on foot or by bike around Las Coloradas so we can fully appreciate this spectacular enclave. We'll get back on the speedboat and sail to a pristine beach where we'll relax on the sand and swim in the crystal-clear water.
On the beach, we'll head to a restaurant to have a lunch consisting of local fish and seafood. Delicious! You'll then be dropped off at your hotel after a total of 12 to 13 hours.
This tour includes pickup from downtown hotels in Playa del Carmen. For boutique hotels, Airbnb, private homes, hostels, motels, hotels with difficult access, and similar, we'll get in touch with you to establish an alternative meeting point.
The Las Coloradas bike tour is subject to availability and will not always be possible if there are lots of tourists. If this part of the tour is not available, we'll walk instead through this area.
