Discover authentic Nepali hospitality while enjoying a delicious homemade lunch with the local villages in Kisti Ranni. With this visit, you'll have the chance to connect with local communities and learn ancestral traditions.
At the designated time, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Pokhara to begin this cultural and culinary adventure. In just 30 minutes, we'll reach the charming town of Kisti Ranni, a calm place surrounded by rice fields and majestic mountain views.
Once we arrive, we'll stroll along the streets of this farming village, home to the Brahman, Chetri, and Dalit communities. Are you ready to learn about their traditions?
During this visit, you'll discover their way of life, listen to stories about their daily routines, and see how the ancestral traditions have shaped the current culture. Did you know that agriculture, especially rice cultivation, is the main activity in this region? You'll learn about the dedication and effort this work requires.
Afterward, the most special moment of the day will arrive: we'll prepare dal bhat, a traditional Nepali dish with rice, lentil soup, and various types of curry. You'll cook with the town's inhabitants while discovering the secrets of their homemade recipes, prepared with fresh ingredients. If you're vegan, don't worry—there will be options for you, too.
Once lunch is ready, we'll all sit together to enjoy this feast in a calm and familiar atmosphere. Without a doubt, it'll be the perfect way to end the day.
Finally, we'll return to Pokhara and drop you off at your hotel after a total of 4 hours.
